Cybersecurity is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges facing the nation. Since the cyber threats to the government agencies have been increasing dramatically in the last few years, and cyber-attacks are becoming more common and more sophisticated, the need for cyber security professionals are in high demand and the jobs are expected to rise in the future.
Regarding to the short term goals, I am planning to
• Graduate from the master program in Information Assurance with an excellent GPA
• Get training and certificates in different security topics such as Cisco Certified Network Security (CCNA Security), Linux Security, and penetration testing.
• Get certificates in more advanced security levels, such as Certified Information Systems Security
