The Great Depression was a very bad stock market crash that happened on Black Tuesday of October 29, 1929, and happened to end just about twelve years later which was just about on December 7, 1941. The great stock market crash is known to actually be considered to really start on October 24, 1929, a few days before the crash really went downhill. It actually happens to be known as the worst stock market crash to ever happen in history and even to present day. So, then once those people actually got the stocks that they wanted instead of paying back the banks for the loans they had given them, the people of the United States of America had asked for more loans to put into more stocks or invest more into that one stock that they were supposedly gaining from. Since they would take money from one bank and practically put it into another bank, it was just screwing everything and everybody around, making the economy a crazed hell. This Dust Bowl came in at the wrong time for New Mexico, because the whole entire state was going through a really difficult time of suffering the drought that had just appeared. There was so many high operating costs that the farmers of New Mexico had to deal with and again the drought made that even worse for them. With these costs being so high, it seems to have been difficult for the farmers of New Mexico to even purchase what they needed to at least take care of whatever needed to be fixed or to at least actually receive some kind of thing out of it. The way that the dust storm happened was by all of the dirt that the drought had dried up, which was called the topsoil. All of this dirt that was carried and made into what is called the Dust Bowl, came from the fields where the farmers in New Mexico were supposed to plant and farm their crops onto. Anyways, the drought and really high prices was practically enough for New Mexicans already, but then it got even worse when all that topsoil starting to whirl up into the air then being blown by the wind, creating a big bad nasty thick dirt wind storm headed to hit New Mexico.
