Who knew planes could fly over a major financial crash! As it turns out, they did. Planes were a new mode of transportation that was introduced by the Wright Brother and was finding its place in the world as most great inventions do. Though as it turns out, it was during the Great Depression this industry flourished and began to integrate into the lives of the american people. Planes were new to the scene and need to fill a demand.

The earthquake destroyed the city hall and many more buildings that took a long time to build. It had killed many people and started oil leaks. The leaks led to fires that blazed upon the city and killed many more.
There are several incidents that caused the death of 3,000 people, but all resulted from the earthquake. Some people died from smoke inhalation, falling debris, and disease. The disease was brought from the falling rubble and standing water that was left after the earthquake. People were not only effected physically, but they also suffered mentally. Families lost loved ones, friends, and co-workers.
This unfortunately was not the only tragedy that struck this region within a short span of five years.

Think about it people could never go home for the holidays in time! After the Wright Brothers impact, Starting 1909 people began relying on planes for transportation. Why did it take 6 years for planes to become popular? It took 6 years because many accidents happened with planes. This caused people to be timid of riding planes.
