Teachers Impact Students’ Physical Heath I chose to read the article, “The Director of Physical Activity and Involvement” by Brent Heidorn and Erin Ceneio. This article introduces the Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program (CSPAP). This program is intended to get both students and teachers physically active before, during, and after school. In order for CSPAP to work, teachers have to make a conscious effort to be active during the day.

By society definition of a sport certain activities like golfing, football, or chess are categorized into these pastimes. Now there is an activity that uses all aspects of this sporting definition but many do not consider this a sport. Marching band being considered a sport is controversial in the eyes of many. I believe that being fit is a personal choice and should not be one’s social responsibility. Although it is true that we all pay for unfit people in many ways, I believe that is not right to force fitness on society. Forcing fitness on people will give fitness a negative connotation and individuals will be less likely to enjoy physical activities or even partake in fitness. Assuming that this responisibility would start at a young age, my concern is turning away kids from fitness. Exercise Science is the major that I am going to take during college. This major consists of the anatomy of the human body and how it moves itself and other objects. Our bodies are machines and they require everything to function properly. I have previously researched information regarding exercise science . Overall, competition improves student's life by pushing student limit, preparing them for future, and helping students interact with other people. First of all, it's pushing students limits. Its pushes their limits because it teaches them to work harder. They can work harder by going ten times harder than what other people are doing. For example, if they're trying out for a sport such as basketball .
Competitive youth sports have many benefits for kids and teens. However, many other people are convinced that sports can have a negative impact for children. But, there are still more positive effects in competitive sports. I believe that sports are beneficial for kids because they develop long-term life skills, improve physical well-being and health, and help expand their social skills. One positive effect of youth sports is that they help teach athletes important and long lasting lessons to have during their life.
To start off with, kids want to win. If they are serious about winning then they will work as hard as possible to win. When kids lose, it makes them work even harder so that next time they can win. Whenever you have friendly competition between two or more kids it makes them strive to be better at each other. If it is competition in the classroom, it could cause them to study more and improve their grades.
Besides a coach an athletic trainer is the right hand man to an athlete. As an athletic trainer there are many tasks that keep us going. One is the athletes themselves and all of the requests they come in and demand. From recovering from an injury to preventing a life long injury from reoccurring trainers are always on the move. Prioritizing, viewing a wide variety of injuries, and differing work fields are just a few of the benefits that you get when you are a trainer.
