I believe that he resents the way that people think of him: “It may sound absurd, but don’t be naive. Even heroes have the right to bleed” I believe this is Superman exclaiming that he doesn’t appreciate how the media portrays him as an above human being and that he wants to feel as though he has the right to feel emotions and struggles like all the regular people feel on a daily basis but cannot because the public puts him at such a high standard. Does being a hero sometimes make a hero isolated?Being a hero can make a hero feel isolated as they may not have anyone who understands what they’re going through and they cannot relate to any normal person like we, regular people, can.
