Keep calm and don’t assume. In the short story “The Girl With Only 2 Arms and 2 Legs” there is a girl named Quarta who only has 2 arms and 2 legs and everyone else had 4 legs and 4 arms. It is written by Stuart Baum, the author shows that you shouldn’t assume things unless you know their true. A famous person once said before you assume you should try this crazy method called asking. Towards the beginning of the story when Quarta is about to go on a field trip the teachers assumed a bunch of things they shouldn’t have because they didn’t know it was true. For instance the teachers did not think that Quarta can not keep up with the class because she doesn’t have as many limbs so the teacher randomly assumes that she can’t keep up and she ends up doing plenty more than keep up. In the end, after all those stupid assumptions, Quarta ends up saving Kako’s life by pulling him out of a pool after climbing over boulders and rocks which is significantly hard considering that she only has 2 arms and 2 legs. Also when Quarta went to save Kako the teachers sent 2 students after her thinking she would fail and get hurt if the teacher didn’t send 2 students after her.
