AT&T is a company that has never stopped innovating and does not plan to stop anytime soon. This is a company that is seeking a bright future and does not intend to let anything stand in its way. The AT&T of today is climbing the ladder of success and dominating its competition on its way to the top. No one could have predicted the success of a telephone company when the late Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone in the year 1876. They may not offer the lowest prices, but they do offer benefits to their customers that put them ahead of the number of competitors they have to face. “To reduce their costs, buyers bargain for higher quality, greater levels of service, and lower prices” (Hitt, Ireland, & Hoskisson, 2013, p. 55). No one could have predicted the success of a company that began as the first telephone company to strive and offer the advanced devices to meet the new needs of the changing society. If AT&T continues down the road they are going and continue develop products that keep up with today’s technology, then it will continue to strive. With a vision and mission statement that says, "We aspire to be the most admired and valuable company in the world.
