With the dissolution of the German Monarchy came the need for a new type of government. This led to the establishment of the Weimar Republic, and those who had helped to put this government into power rebelled with no success. Germany was suffering from debt after World War I, and the people no longer knew if they could give their support to the Weimar Republic. With the country experiencing intense inflation the German currency basically collapsed along with the republic. This led to the rise of a new age of absolute monarchy, although it was not called that. This new form of rule was led by the Nazi Party, led by Adolf Hitler. Hitler’s rule would be characterized by a need for purity of race, anti-Semitism, and extreme German nationalism.

This was established by Hitler that claimed that it was not right was races and cultures to mix and reproduce with one another. He discusses this in his work entitled, Mein Kampf. The purpose of this written work was to convince the German people why it was unnatural, and not wise to mix the races and cultures. The idea behind this was that it would make people weaker to mix with races that aren’t as superior as the race the Hitler preferred. This is explained when he says, “The stronger must dominate and not blend with the weaker, thus sacrificing his own greatness.” This statement encapsulates the entire thesis behind Mein Kampf, and Hitler’s desire to create a pure race. He claims that if people do mix with a different race or ethnicity it will create weaker people and weaken the bloodline. According to Hitler this was the current issue with the German people, and was the reason why they were suffering so many
