On December 7, 1941, for the first time since the War of 1812, a foreign power crippled the American Naval power in the pacific. Japanese planes bomb the Naval Base, Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Japan destroyed the American fleet and had hope they would be established as dominant power. Ten days later, America had joined in World War II. Allied leaders head a conference to formulate plans for the postwar world. Included were Churchill, Stalin and Roosevelt.
