Edgar Allen Poe was a writer/poet. He had many bad and some good encounters in his life and he wrote it down in some deep words that most people thought was to loud. His work was consist of romance, death, depression, happiness, and family. He was the first known writer to ever try to make a living out of writing. His family had many deaths. Most of them that passed were so deeply close to him. Most of the people that had passed in his life, died of consumption. His wives have all fallen ill and died as well.
