The employees I interviewed rated whether they believed working in teams increases the amount of work that gets done on a 1-5 continuum (with 1 being the best and 5 the worst) and 4 out of 5 said 1. “MainFreight has a culture that fosters interaction with all team members through their open plan offices to eating together at lunch with all team from your national team to store team. Flat structure which means it is easy to interact with any team member regardless of job.” Staff members are in turn more comfortable and happy coming to work every day. 4 out of 5 employees I interviewed stated that the reason they like coming to work is due to the team they work with. This in turn increases productivity allowing MainFreight to offer a high level of customer service. This gives MainFreight the opportunity to gain new customers because of its reputation. Satisfied existing customers will continue to remain loyal customers helping MainFreight to meet its vision of being a 100 year
