Paper Town “And now life has become the future. Every moment of your life is lived for the future-you go to highschool so you can go to college so you can get a good job so you can get a nice house so you can afford to send your kids to college so they can get a good job so they can get a nice house so they can afford to send their kids to college.” At least that is Margo Roth Spiegelman’s view on today’s society. Margo lives on the edge and isn’t really afraid of anyone. If someone upsets her, she gets revenge. When she found out that her boyfriend had been cheating on her with her “bestfriend” she couldn’t just let it go. So the night she found out she snuck out of her house and knocked on her neighbor, Quentin Jacobsen’s,window. She told him that she needed his car and needed him to drive. At first he refused, but eventually she talked him into it. Q (Quentin’s nickname) was in band and so were all of his friends. Him and his friends were all very smart, but not popular. He's had a crush on Margo since they were 9.

The school year was almost over, but that was when everything changed. Margo gave Q a grocery list and money and they went into walmart to get everything. They then spent that whole night getting revenge by pulling pranks on her ex-boyfriend and everyone else. By the end of the night they had broke into seaworld and gone downtown and went into one of the skyscrapers. In the building is where Margo told Q how she felt about people and how they waste their lives by doing everything for the future. Later they both go home and get as much sleep as they can before school the next
