The Great Gatsby is a story about a very wealthy man named Gatsby. For Gatsby, his life began at age seventeen when he met Dan Cody. As Gatsby became fixed on winning Daisy back, his whole life became ordered around that goal. The story opens with the first person narrative, Nick Carraway introduces himself as a character of the novel The Great Gatsby. The novel opens by reminding an advice that his father gives to Nick.
