Well in the book Football Hero by Tim Green there is a 12 year old boy named Ty whose Uncle doesn’t even seem to care about him. His uncle Gus makes him clean up a bar everyday, he has to clean the bathroom, the kitchen, tables, everything. This is the most important setting because this is where Ty received the call for him to go to the draft with his brother Thane, which ended up turning out to Thane adopting Ty. Ty’s Uncle Gus makes Ty and his cousin charlotte clean the bar. They have to clean the bathrooms the kitchen, everything. Thane ended up calling one day asking Ty if he wanted to go to the NFL draft, Throughout the story Ty and Thane spent a lot of time together. Then at the end of the story Thane didn’t want to let Ty go. In the beginning of the book, the author states “Turning twelve didn’t matter to Ty. Birthdays, like christmas and every other holiday, had lost their thrill. Most of the day had already passed without anything special happening and Ty didn’t expect that to change” (Green 1). In this Quote it tells you that is Uncle and Aunt didn’t really care for him and Ty didn’t expect anything. I think the reason his uncle and aunt don’t really like is because they didn’t really want to take care of another kid but they ended up having to keep him because his parents died. This is super important to the book because Ty doesn’t even want to live with his Uncle Gus because he is mean and later on in the story he ends up being happier with his brother rather than with his uncle. This connects to the setting because his Uncle gus makes him clean up at the bar everyday, treating him like a slave. This make Ty not like Uncle gus as much anymore. So basically this bar is making Thane not like his Uncle
