Every story has a part where the main character goes through a revelation or is reincarnated into something new and better. Or it can be quite the opposite, their downfall, like the beginning of their villain arc. In Ray Bradbury’s book Fahrenheight 415 we encounter a character who’s life which he once knew is completely changed. As well as in the short story Whip in hand. Lastly, I can say I've also had my “revelation” and relate to both these stories. It is ture when one says that certain events can change an individual's perspective of life. It can be a good or bad change, it all depends on whether you're willing to accept change.
In Fahrenheight 451 we are introduced to our main character Guy Montag, who goes through a series of events

He was asked this specific question by this strange girl, “Are you really happy? This is an example as to how certain events can cause an individual's perspective to shift. When one is uncertain of themselves and is asked such a question, it can cause chaos and destruction in an individual's mind. We become unfamiliar with the feelings and thoughts in our heads and see things differently. The feeling of uncertainty can be unpleasant which then makes us look for resolve. Looking for answers as to “why” and sparking curiosity within an individual. In the book it’s quoted “He was not happy. He said the words to himself. He recognized this as the true state of affairs. Last year I went through something that completely changed my life and who I was. I’ve always been a super happy and exciting person, who loved talking to others and was generally an outgoing person. I looked forward to things and took things head on no matter the circumstances. I was confident and I was me. Someone took that away from me though and it completely changed my perspective of life. The innocent little girl inside me was killed by an ordinary boy. I was blinded by what I thought was “good” and taken advantage of. The once exciting girl inside me died. I didn’t talk much and was very quiet after it happened and the spark inside me was gone. I was taught by my parents to be tough so that's what I tried to be. I later realized that it wouldn’t be as easy this time. It didn't take me long to realize that what had happened was very wrong and that staying quiet would only make things worse. I was doing really bad in school, soccer wasn’t the same and I lost all of my confidence. How was I going to step up from this though? I didn’t wanna keep living in sorrow. I was hurting but the hurt motivated me. I looked at things very differently after, and always saw negative things as a way to grow in life. I no longer sat at home crying, but used the anger and sadness in me to push me forward and to motivate me into becoming who I am now. Like Montag in my first paragraph, I let go of things to achieve new ones. I was so caught up with
