Coraline is written by British author Neil Gaiman and illustrations by Dave McKean. First published in Great Britain in August 2002. Coraline is a dark fantasy book, it is a little bit scary book. This book talk about girl who name is Coraline. She move with her family into an old big house. After Coraline discovers a locked door in rainy day things going to happen, what coraline did not dreamed. The story ends a child-friendly and fascinating. The other characters in the book were Mr. Jones and Mrs. Jones who are Coraline`s mother and father, The Other Mother and The Other Father whom Coraline meet other world, Miss April Spink and Miss Miriam Forcible who says Coraline`s name wrong, Crazy Old Man who argue that he training mice, The Cat who help a lot Coraline, two ghost girl and one ghost boy who help Coraline to find her father and mother. …show more content…

But I have to admit that it is not this way. At the beginning when book told what this place looks like where the action happen, I thought that all story talking about what Coraline discovering. A book conjure me when Coraline left alone with key and mysterious door. After that I could not put a book out of my hand. It was a scary book for me because I am afraid puppets. I do not like at all cloth puppets, puppets who sing and puppets who have moving eyes. But I like these things what I afraid. Therefore I love read horror, mystical books. This book have some explanatory pictures. I like these pictures because they are simply drawn and let my imaginations better fly. Now I think this book is for children and adults, there it does not matter how old you are. Even my mother reading this book and approve
