The events in chapter ten of Lord of the flies can be summarized as the true turning point of the split between madness and ordinance. Chapter ten is a chapter on how most of the society has broken down and split into a new one of a dictatorship that lies on the brink of anarchy. This is most prevalent as Jack conducts a raid on Ralph's camp to plunder piggy's specs to create a fire for meat preventing Ralph's camp from having a signal fire to draw in rescue.
