Alice was a normal girl. Some might consider an above average teen because of her wonderful ambition and success. Every time she stepped in a room it seemed to light up. Alice was very involved with her community and school. She had set goals for herself that were beyond any that kids her age had set. Her school teachers and the adults around her admired for being so put together for her age. However, there was a change in Alice and even they had noticed it. At school, Alice was a leader. She was head of her class with a 4.0 GPA and was looking forward to spending her college years at Harvard. Alice didn't have many other friends and Anna was all. What was she to do without her best friend who has been through everything with her? Though Alice was strong academically, emotionally, losing Anna made Alice weak. At home she could act out. She was a totally different person outside of her house. If you would ask your friends who she was and if you would ask her parents who she was they would describe to totally polar opposite people. So, when they walked through those emergency room doors, it was so embarrassing and Alice tried to keep your cool about it.it went pretty usual for an emergency room visit. Room you sat in a room watching TV for about half an hour until someone comes in. And then you wait another hour until the actual doctor comes in. When the actual doctor to come in, it was the most real moment she had ever felt in her life. All her emotions came at once. She was mad she was sad she was so angry at her parents for bringing her thereAll she wanted to do was hug the person she love the most and that was her best friend Anna. They took her away in a wheelchair for security on each side. They were in the deepest darkest spot in the hospital. You would've never been able to tell that it was there from the outside. She didn't belong here. She wasn't some schizophrenic freak or Satanist that wants to kill everything in its path. She just went through a rough patch with a friend. She had to say goodbye to her parents who were still very shaken up by the whole situation. Alice was taken into a room by a nurse in brown scrubs. She was patted down like you see in those crime TV shows. She was given purple scrubs to wear and her clothes
