Obesity in children causes a wide range of serious complications, and increase the risk of premature illness and death later in life, raising public-health concerns” (Ebbeling, Pawlak & Ludwig, 2002, pp. 474-479). Schools and communities attempted to create some health programs that promoted healthful activities in order to solve these issues, but the efforts remained ineffective. Not only this, but an effective kids program is successful at bringing the best in children who have somehow developed a negative mental stance and are performing poorly in schools. Such behaviours results in negative health outcomes and risky behaviours. Kids sports programs can be seen as a mentoring program and as an opportunity which will result in a positive outcome not only in the form of a physical and social wellbeing, but also in the domains of behaviours, emotions and academics and other areas (Association for psychological science, 2011). Furthermore, not all parents know how to raise their children well and thus, cannot equip them with the right tools that generate success. Such physical activity programs can provide the children the right platform to develop their innate abilities and grow into a positive human. Furthermore, advertising through sports is a relatively inexpensive medium. Companies not only increase the children’s familiarity with the brand by sponsoring sports, they also create an association of the healthy activity with the brand therefore when anyone opts for that brand, they will automatically associate it to the particular activity. With little effort, a very positive impact is created and hence the automatic association. This way, companies are likely to generate high amounts of profits without putting in much effort and also sustain them for a greater number of years.
