While different people may be having different views and perceptions of the US President, Donald Trump, more so based on their political stands, his leadership skills can be derived from the successful manner in which he has conducted his businesses and accumulation of wealth. Among the most revealing things about an individual are their work tricks. It takes an individual with great leadership skills to effectively establish and develop a business to become an international organization. A successful organization is characterized by effective decision making which President Trump has demonstrated through his businesses. Trump has made significant success in various businesses and real estates for decades where the business world knows him for many years, especially with success in the real estate industry (Thorntorn, 2017). He would not have been achieved in business without effective decision-making skills.
Authoritative
Different scholars and people have different opinions on the effectiveness of an authoritative leader; in the case of President Trump, the skill or style has been effective and relevant for him as a leader. In the run up to the US elections, President Trump would confidently indicate that his foreign policy would solely focus on “Making America Great Again”. This statement spurred controversies and debates from different angles but he remained committed to the promise even after being elected.
