Adventures are always the best, right? Not always, like in the book called The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Huck Finn, Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher had many adventures that were invented by Mark Twain. This book is a true classic for many people. Their adventures always seem fun at first, but they tend to make a unique turn. This book truly shows how adventures can take you anywhere. The adventures Tom had with Huck were crazy, The most important one was when they saw a murder. Their adventure began with bringing a dead cat to the cemetery, but it turned into them witnessing a murder. After witnessing the murder they swore to each other they would never tell anybody. “Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer swear they will keep mum about this and they wish they may drop down dead in their tracks if they ever tell and Rot”. This quote from page 88 demonstrates that they are afraid to say anything about the murder because they think they will get killed by Injun Joe. They went on a school field trip. During the trip they wandered off from the group and went into the cave. They ran down many tunnels of the cave because they were being chased by bats. While running they got lost and could not find their way out. They lost hope, Becky was afraid and Tom thought that he thought they might die.
