A christ figure will often perform actions that are considered miracles by those around him. The film Cool Hand Luke focuses on the titular character, Luke, a prisoner who refuses to conform to life in prison. Luke performs miracles on more than one occasion throughout the film. The first instance is when he fights fellow prisoner Dragline. Dragline continuously knocks Luke down, but he keeps standing up for more.
In this passage, my mother and I listened to a discussion Eliezer and Moishe the Beadle had together. Moishe the Beadle asks Eliezer why does he pray. Eliezer is dumbfounded by the question as he his used to praying regularly. He replies to Moishe he does not know why prays. Moishe later tells him that people should ask God questions even though people won’t understand His reply.
Nevertheless, to their amazement, physical and emotional healings occurred. We as Christians seek healing, but many times do not seek a greater relationship with Christ. This is self-centeredness rather than Christ-centeredness. We are not to live in chapter seven of Romans, but in chapter eight, which is walking in the Spirit. Forgiveness

He was special in his disability but not being a “second Jesus” special; this drove ignorance. Throughout his life, he thought he was more of a miracle than he really should have
The people helped the sick because they trusted in God that He would help them stay healthy, “And yet the Lord so upheld these persons as in this general calamity they were not at all infected either with sickness or lameness. ”(Bradford 81). The people believed that if they were to help the sickly that God would take care of them. Bradford uses the fact that the
He does so only to bring the soul back to health...to drive from it every kind of spiritual evil.” (Demarest) Going through various experiences in life I have seen how things that should have destroyed me, God used these experiences to point me to him. David Martin, Lifeline’s Director of Spiritual Care in Tarrant County, had no idea how God would use him to minister to James when he walked into his room. Here is David’s account of what God led him to: “A woman requested a chaplain’s visit for her father-in-law. Unable to eat much of anything for six months due to gastroperesis, this man had lost sixty pounds. In a moment of despair, he pointed a pistol at his mid-section and pulled the trigger.
One such example is when his house is broken into. He describes it as such: “My house was broken open in two places, and about twenty pounds worth of plate stolen away, and some Iinen; my spoon and knife and neckcloth was taken. I said, is not this an answer to prayer? Jane came up and gave us the alarm betime in the morn. I was helped to submit to Christ's

He stirs up our interest as he deals with the biggest concern of our modern day leaders in our churches and society – the struggle with our weaknesses. And I believe his philosophy goes much deeper than what is actually written.
The Bible has a lot of interesting people, and sometimes there is an impression that some of the people in the Bible are unreal, almost fictional. There are the super holy people like Moses, the prophets, Paul, the apostles after Pentecost. Then there are the super godly warriors like David, Joshua, and some of the judges God raised up to delivered the Israelites from their enemies. Some of those people in the Bible make crazy miracles. It is impossible to ever measure up to any of these people in the Bible.
This proves that Jesus believes that anyone can be saved, if he has faith in God. This could even extend to the rich man. If the rich man had faith in God, he too could be saved. Jesus often became angry when people in the crowd would question his ability to save people, as this, to Jesus, only showed their lack of faith. Jesus, before saving the boy from the demon, says, “O faithless generation, how long will I be with you?
