Michelangelo was completely committed to art and religion and lived prudently despite his fame. According to Roger, Michelangelo “was affectionate and generous to his family and friends, but he is also inclined to be distrustful and withdrawn harboring a sharp temper and a sarcastic tongue” (Eugène 62). In the art world, Michelangelo is viewed as an archetype Renaissance character due to the extraordinary order and flexibility he displayed in his works.
Most people know Leonardo Da Vinci as being painter but he was also a sculptor, architect, engineer, musician, inventor and scientist. Da Vinci was a hard worker and had a creative soul that reflected in all his work. From the Renaissance to present day Leonardo Da Vinci work is still admired and constantly influences people all around the world. Leonardo Da Vinci was one of the most gifted, well rounded artist of the Renaissance. This can been proven through research and collected data.
He changed the way people look at art. Raphael painted life. He was a very intricate artist and used a lot of detail in his portraits, he is recognized for this often. In addition, Raphael changed the way people looked and of the Holy Madonna. He painted emotional themes.
Each artist paints and or sculpts pieces that show human emotions, religious symbolism, and extreme detail. Leonardo da Vinci is the first artist to be discussed because of his popularity. He is best known for the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa was a portrait of a woman that developed a meaning, people said it’s a symbol of the Renaissance information which came from this quote. “The Mona Lisa was originally this type of portrait, but over time its meaning has shifted and it has become an icon of the Renaissance perhaps the most recognized painting in the world.”
Michelangelo had a gigantic influence on the renaissance. He was a master at both painting and sculpting, he also was an architect, engineer, and poet. During his day he was unbeatable in his painting and sculpting skills. He had many artist study under him and help him with painting the Sistine Chapel in Vatican, but none were on par with him.
Leonardo da Vinci was a talented scientist, inventor, painter of the Renaissance europe. Modern scholars referred to him as "the most perfect representative of the Renaissance", is unique in the history of mankind all rounder, his greatest achievement is his masterpiece of painting, "Monalisa", "the last supper", "virgin of the rocks" and other works, reflects his superb artistic attainments. He believes that the most beautiful object of nature is the human body, the human body is a wonderful work of nature, painters should be the core of the object of painting. He is a deep thinking, knowledgeable, versatile painter, astronomer, inventor, engineer.
