Life is all about motion. We as human beings must travel around in the world to get to certain locations. Sometimes, people will take public transportation as a means of travel, such as taxis, buses, subways, or even trains. Others will use their own cars, motorbikes, bicycles, or electronic devices. When we travel, we encounter countless objects, people, and the events that occur between them. When I’m running, I get to notice some of the finer details of life that surrounds me. I get a runner’s high from passing through life itself, and it brings my mind into a state of serenity.
I always enjoyed running when I was younger, but now, mostly because I would win races between my friends and becoming known as “the fastest in the class.” I eventually ended up joining the cross country, and track & field teams, where I would improve my running skills even more. I realized that I did not enjoy running in competitions, as much as I liked running in general. Now that I’ve grown older, I don’t run for any sports, but for my own individual wellbeing. Running has not only become a good workout for me, but it has also become a spiritual journey. Running had become an embodiment of my mind

I spent my time thinking about my life and my memories while I was running there. I also become aware of the environment that surrounded me, and how it changed. I was alone this time, I kept a slow stride analyzing the environment. I saw the changes in the field where people flew remote controlled airplanes, abandoned. I saw the dirt bike trails, blocked off by warning signs and tape. I eventually made it back to the pond, seeing the many footsteps my friends and I have made over the past years, and more. I realized that no matter what happens, life will run its own course and things change even before you realize it. Runner’s high has become part of that, allowing me experience things that will stay with me
