By just looking at the topic there is some many thoughts will come to your mind. In fact, it's a really interesting article was written by J.J.Goode. I’ve been around a few people who have some disabilities they all told me the worst thing anyone could do to them is feel sympathy towards them. "Some people say the kitchen is where they clear their hands; for me, it's where I face my demons” (Goode 4). It was the complete opposite of what I thought it would be, but it turns out it's about a guy faces a lot of problem because of his hand. He wrote about his disability and how it affects his life. He said he used to avoid chop and other grueling tasks of prepping because chopping proved to be difficult for him; he came to the realization that sooner or later, to fully achieve success as a cook, he would have to do what he had been so good at avoiding. I think the way he describes the kitchen of being a place of relaxation for most, but for him it’s always about facing his challenge of having one arm. I believe that J.J.Goode is a really optimistic man and by the end of reading his article you will be really motivated by his why of thinking. When facing all the challenges in the kitchen, he does so with a positive mindset and a passion. He wants to prove to himself that he’s capable of making dishes that require hands on steps. He believes that having a disability can't make us sad and we can live a happy life. Can you imagine that he never missed having a right arm! He grew up as a happy kid, likes sports, who never thought that his disability would interfere with anything he wanted to do, But as we all know that disabilities are a hard thing to cope with, but he lives his life happily despite his arm
