The Jack the Ripper Case happened during the Whitechapel murders but only 5 of the 11 victims were identified as victims of Jack the Ripper. The Jack the Ripper case happened April 3, 1888 and February 13, 1891 in Whitechapel, London. Due to the large pool of suspects and the pressure form the media, the police was never able to identify Jack the Ripper but did have an idea of who it might be. The suspect was believed to have some knowledge of the human anatomy because of the unusual slashing and shift death. Since the killings stopped so suddenly, many experts have believed that Jack the Ripper was either imprisoned for another crime or was killed.
