Whitney Elizabeth Houston was an American Artist, Actress, and Fashion Model. In Whitney’s career time, she was ranked 4th best selling female artist, and Rolling Stone listed her as Top 100 best singers of all time. Whitney’s love for music started when she was a little girl singing in a church choir. Later on when Whitney grew up she recorded her first single in 1979. Whitney’s first album was called “Whitney Houston”. She started as a gospel artist, then turned toward secular music. Whitney was one of the best female artist of all time. As Whitney’s career got bigger, she had a few famous songs called, “I Will Always Love You”, “How Will I Know”, “I Have Nothing”, and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”. Whitney had 2 step brother, Gary Garland, and John Russell Houston III. She also had a step sister, Alana Houston, and a real brother, Michael Houston. Whitney and her family grew up in Newark, New Jersey. She started her singing career in New Hope Baptist Church. Whitney would sing in the choir, and would wow the audience with her voice at that young of an age. When Whitney Houston was around the age 15, she would sing with her mom and tour nightclubs. Whitney hoped by doing this she would get a record deal. But instead a photographer found her and loved her looks and she soon became a model. She modeled for the magazine “Seventeen magazines”. Whitney loved modeling but music was her favorite. Whitney later discovered a nightclub where she had signed and her career went from gospel music to pop music. Whitney’s singing vocals weren't shocking by her family because she grew up in a legendary singing family. She had a mom, a grandma, and a great aunt who were all American singers. Most of her family was very talented along with her godmother, Aretha Franklin. She and her godmother were both Legends. Whitney's childhood involved her love for music and the beginning of her music career. Her family moved to East Orange New Jersey and Whitney intended Franklin Elementary School. But she didn't graduate high school from Franklin she graduated from Mount Saint High School

Whitney was in a new musical film called “Sparkle”, starring Jordin Sparks. Whitney was approached to become a x-factor judge, but Whitney did live long enough to become a judge. Whitney died on February 11, 2012 at the age of 48. Whitney was in Los Angeles for a grammy party, that she was going to sing at the night she died. She was staying in Beverly Hilton Hotel. The Los Angeles County confirmed her death as an accidental drowning. The doctors also found the use of cocaine and a heart diseases in her body which led her to drowning. Unfortunately her death made the world lose one of their most legendary singers of all time. Whitney’s daughter, Kristina was hospitalized after her mother's death. She was diagnosed with emotional trauma. Kristina later returned to her mother's home. Whitney left everything to her daughter. In 2015, three years after Whitney’s death, Kristina was found face down in a bathtub. She was taken to Emory University Hospital and was in a medically induced coma. They believed she died because two days before this happened, she lost control in her car and hit another car. But, unfortunately Kristina didn’t make it. She died on July 26, 2015, at the age of
