Character Analysis on Cherry Valance: Academic Essay Cherry’s is the leading female character in the book The Outsiders written by S.E. Hinton. This connected me to Cherry because it showed that where ever you lived, everyone has problems even if you are rich or poor. This still happens in modern time.
