A killer is on the horizon and his name is Freddy Krueger, in the movie Nightmare on Elm Street(2010). This film directed by Samuel Bayer and written by Wesley Strickand Eric Heisserer as a remake of Wes Craven's 1984 film of the same name, which revolves around a group of teenagers who are being stalked in their dreams by an impenetrable man named Freddy Krueger. Jackie Earle Haley, plays the bladed demon Freddy as he terrorizes teens; Kris Fowles (Katie Cassidy), Dean Russell (Kellan Lutz), and a few others, that make this movie a true monster movie. When these same teens end up having nightmares about the same man in the sweater, all chaos erupts. Teenagers Nancy, Quentin, Kris, Jesse and Dean are all neighborhood friends who begin having the same nightmare of a horribly disfigured man who wears a tattered sweater and a glove made of knives.Terrorized by this finger-bladed demon, it is the awakening of old memories and the denials of a past of retribution that turn dreams into a nightmare of death reality. The only way to avoid this death reality is to stay awake. As the movie progresses tension is built up from not knowing what is real and what isn’t. Because once you fall asleep, you must fight for survival in an impossible death world. Around the end of the movie Freddy’s past is revealed, which describes his monster like figure role in the
