The serial killer John Wayne Gacy was born on March 17, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. Gacy grew up in an awful home, his father was a drunk and literally beat Gacy until he was unconscious. His mother would try to protect Gacy but it would just cause her to get beat also. Not only did Gacy must go through a terrible home life he also had zero friends at school they all bullied him. The only friend he thought he had sexually molested him. With all the troubles at home Gacy decided to leave for Las Vegas Nevada in 1962. He found a Job at a mortuary, after a year of working he Began to like the dead bodies he worked with and hugged them and gave the dead bodies attention. Gacy was shocked with his own actions and moved back home with his parents. Moving back home lead him to normal life where he attended college, found a professional career, and fell in love with a co-worker. …show more content…

Gacy was really attracted to the same sex but he liked the boys to be young like early teenage years. He would lure the boys in his home and rape them. Gacy was caught 1968 and was given a 10-year poison tern for assault on two teen boys. Gacy was released on parole the summer of 1970. A teenage boy went missing December 1978, the mother said he went to go meet up with John Gacy for a job. So, the police searched Gacy’s home and found where he has murdered 33 three boys and did another horrifying thing to them. Gacy lured these boys in the home by promising them construction work.
