Kmart Australia is a leading national retailer of low cost merchandise owned by Perth based conglomerate Wesfarmers Limited, who acquired Coles Group Limited in 2007 in addition to their subsidiary businesses Coles, Officeworks, and Target (Wesfarmers, 2016a).
