Dear Jury Members: Think of how bad it would be for you to get accused of a murder that you didn't commit. In this trial, that is what is happening because Mr Bennett is being accused of murdering Mr Adams. Mr Bennett should be found not guilty of first degree murder of Mr Adams because there is not enough proven evidence to make him guilty. Even though the prosecution claims that Mr Bennett is guilty of murder, they are incorrect because the rat poison that was used to kill Mr Adams was only available to the exterminators, and Mr Adams had bad eyesight and was terrible at reading labels. The reason for Mr Adams' death was because he was dying from poison in his coffee. This means that while he was putting creamer and sugar into his coffee since he had bad eyesight, he was actually putting the rat poison in it which ended up killing him. If Mr Adams had better eyesight then I could see why you would think Mr Bennett committed this crime, but this just proves that he had accidentally put rat poison in his own
