An unsung hero of the American a Revolution is Nathanael Greene, due to his immense bravery that is not widely recognized. A hero, defined as someone who’s actions show bravery and good character. An unsung hero is a hero who is not recognized for their achievements. Nathanael Greene was a major general for the Continental Army during the Revolution. First of all, Greene created a militia in October of 1774 because he could see the increasing possibility of war with Britain.
