The famous leader I have chosen is New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees. Drew Is a NFL super bowl winner, and a huge contributor to his community. Before he was a famous leader he was a huge leader with a big impact. Drew was born in Austin Texas on january 15, 1979. He went to school at westlake high school playing football with a 28-0-1 record with him starting. He lead his school to a 16-0 season followed by a state championship in 1996. After playing for the chargers for 3 years; he was traded to the New Orleans Saints in 2005. Brees moved to the community of New Orleans After hurricane Katrina. He didn’t move to the area only because he was traded to the saints, but he moved there because he saw a community in need of help. So Brees bought a house that was badly damaged in the city. Once he bought he had it remodeled and repaired. Which isn't a huge thing to help out the community but it’s a small step in the right direction. Than Drew and his wife Brittany started the Brees Dream Foundation. The Brees dream foundation is designed for “Improving the quality of life for cancer patients, and provide care, education and opportunities for children and families in need”. Then in 2007 the brees dream foundation joined together with international children's charity operation. Which is a charity that uses donations and motivation programs to rebuild parks, academic centers, and athletic facilities plus much more. Brees dream foundation today of 2017 has contributed $25,000,000 to not only his community or country. That money has been contributed to help global causes around the world. In 2009 Drew took his leadership capabilities and pushed them to the maximum. By pushing his team and coaches to a 2009 super bowl championship and winning not only the game, but super bowl mvp as …show more content…

I think he moved to the area because he got a look at the community, and couldn't just stand by and watch the people struggle to get back to where they were before the hurricane. I this Drew falls under the cheerleader/coach category. Due to the fact that he is always caring for others personal being. While motivating them to believe when they wake up to the next day being better than the day before. And hopefully in end reaching the goal by keeping a personal interaction with
