This quote means that people don't notice the good things in life until they come across love, because love can open ones eyes up to endless possibilities. The story of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is a tragedy. In the story, a boy and a girl fall in love at first sight, later to find out that the other is from the descent of their families biggest enemy. Even though they know they cannot ever be together, they can't help but to stay in love. They secretly get married and one of them get banished so they can no longer see each other. In scene two of act four on page 1076 Capulet's says, "So many guests to invite as here are writ." This is when Capulet is planning Juliet's marriage to Paris. If he would've known about her marriage with Romeo, he never would've planned this marriage that caused a lot of chaos in the story. The feud caused Tybalt to kill Mercutio and fight Romeo. Tybalt hated the Montagues. He thought they were a complete threat, so he killed Mercutio, and then to protect Juliet from Romeo, he fights Romeo, only to die. This causes Romeo to be banished. The family feud is the cause of Romeo and Juliet's deaths because Romeo and Juliet were too scared to tell their families that they got married because of what the possible outcomes could've been. This caused Capulet to arrange a marriage between Juliet and Paris. This is the reason that Juliet uses the Friar's plan to fake her death before the marriage.
