INTRODUCTION Samuel Adams, one of our founding fathers, signee of the the Declaration of independence, and participant Boston Tea Party . Samuel is a very respected, honored, and patriotic man in US history.
1.LIFE GROWING UP Samuel Adams was born September 27, 1722 in Boston ,Massachusetts .He died October 2 ,1803 in Cambridge, MA. He grew up in a family house on Purchase Street, near the Boston harbor. Boston was not the city it is today during that time. He was one out of eleven children. Most of his brothers and sisters did not live past the

He created his own land bank, it was put their to give borrowers who mortgaged their property paper money to help pay off their debts. During this time the land bank currency was very promising to people. such as poor farmers. This allowed them to expand their purchasing and helped many merchants selling their goods to these farmers who were looking to purchase. Mary Adams, was a very religious and strict woman to raised in Massachusetts. She strongly preached the Puritan ways to Samuel like his father, who was a preacher. As Samuel was growing up his parents always wanted him to be a preacher of the church his father worked at, but that was not the way for young Samuel. He really believed in politics, which would soon become his role in life. Every step he took in life was in a political way. He was called “ the last of the Puritans”. He lived a very privileged life as a boy. He attended one of the top schools in Boston which is Boston Latin

Due to these rebellious actions the British created the coercive acts of 1774. This was use to punish American colonist and Boston for things such as riots and the Boston tea party to be specific. The coercive acts were also known as the “Intolerable acts”. After all this madness came the Declaration of Independence. Which freed all thirteen American colonies from the British government. What the thirteen formed the United States of America. Lots of very important people signed the declaration of independence such as John hancock[whom he met in sons of liberty], John adams[ samuels second cousin].and plenty of others. John Hancocks signature was an very important signature because he was the first president of the congress. Samuel Adams served as Massachusetts delegate to the Continental Congress until 1981.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS There are many Major accomplishments for Samuel Adams. He was a very influential person. In the year 1765 him, and a couple of other people created the Sons of Liberty to fight against British taxation against the English colonies. He Played a Huge role in organizing the Boston Tea Party after he was denied by Governor Hutchinson whom was the governor of Massachusetts.
Samuel Adams was also signee of the Declaration Of Independence in 1776 when all thirteen American colonies came together.
