This is the reason because movie developers want animals as central characters of these movies because they want both adults and children to be engaged in the movie as animals pose as a comic relief and are “nice” to watch, But that’s what most people think. But it’s all about realism. If the central character is a human and something sad happened (e.g. someone dying, someone suffered major injuries) it won’t be appealing to young viewers and they won’t understand much. But if the central was an animal, young viewers can feel sympathy and pity for what happened and a reason for this is because Sigmund Freud a World-Renowned Neurologist hypothesised that children see themselves equal to animals, finding adult behaviour more confusing and less relatable to animals. Much like children, animals are instinctual and their emotions are simple and pure. Also, animal characters become universally relatable as they transcend limiting markers such as race, gender and nationality. They float free from these labels and therefore bring benefits of a clean slate to their roles. Creating animal characters by delinking human identity and allows viewers to identify and relate to those characters. An example of this use is in the movie Zootopia where the movie is all about animals with real life issues. But
