The Alchemist by Paul Coehlo I chose to read the book The Alchemist by Paul Coehlo because it is actually a very celebrated book. A lot of people like to follow their dreams. Individuals in this world actually like to dread, Like to see their dreams come to realization and to actually celebrate other people's dreams. In the book the protagonist who is known as Santiago is essentially both figuratively and literally following his dreams. In the process of him following his dreams he then discovers more in regards to himself with inclusion to the rest of the world and all its entirely. He realizes that though there could be obstacles he believed that when you really want something to happen, the whole world conspires to help you achieve it. The story follows the Journey, a shepherd who is Andalusia by the name Santiago. Santiago believes in a recurring dream that he believes is prophetic. Santiago then decides to actually travel to a Romani fortune-Teller who lives I a nearby town to be able to discover its meaning. The woman the boy meets interprets the dream as a prophecy, and reveals to the boy that there is a treasure in the pyramids that are in Egypt. The protagonist undertakes many a mile journey in order for them to be able to find the treasure he dreams of. Consequently after all his suffering he finds the place of his dreams did not actually yield results. All that Santiago actually wanted he could have been able to obtain it from where he began. But the boy does not despair. He simply smiles and then realizes that the journey was worth the treasure. In much simpler terms after reading the Alchemist by Paul Coehlo is a reflection of our actual lives.
