Their goals often oppose the protagonist formulating a story or narrative full of tension and suspense. Without an antagonist, the story is less entertaining for the reader to enjoy. and Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan captures the adventures of a young Greek demigod, as he and his friends attempt to save Mount Olympus from the tyrannical titan, Kronos. Rick Riordan uses the tyrant villain archetype to construct Kronos into a power hungry beast that wants to rule. Riordan also uses literary devices such as metaphors, onomatopoeia, and foreshadowing to produce an engaging story for the audience.
