A Tale Of Two Lovers This a tale takes place in a city known by the name Verona where two rival families have had a quarrel with one another for many years, these families were commonly known as the Capulets and the the Montagues. Each family had an heir to their home, the Montagues had a son named Romeo, a passionate young gentlemen who had a bit of a problem when he recently got out of a bad relationship and getting over it was no easy task. One night, Romeo and a couple of his friends snuck into one of the Capulet parties where Romeo first makes contact with the daughter of the Capulets, a beautiful gentle girl named Juliet. Even though it was forbidden by their families Romeo and Juliet found a quick liking …show more content…

At the begging of the end of act 1 Romeo states “what lady is that, which doth enrich the hand /O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright /It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night like a jewel in an Ethiop's ear /Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear!”(I,v,42-49). Part of one of the reasons Romeo and Juliet died is the fact that Romeo was the one to lay eyes first, and if that interaction never happened, then perhaps Romeo would have met someone else who he was aloud to marry within his parents restrictions. Romeo could have gone anywhere else that night, but without hesitation, agreed to go to his own enemies party in which he wasn’t even invited in the first place and even by going he caught the eye of Tybalt. Later Romeo exclaims “Is she Capulet/O dear account! My life is in my foe's debt”(I,v,125-126). When Romeo put it together that Juliet was the daughter of his enemy he should have left the party immediately, but instead he decided to go against his own family and love in secrecy. If Romeo had just moved on and realized that him and Juliet would never be able to be with one another he would have probably found someone that would actually be in regulations of his family and him and Juliet would have lived long and happy lives. My point is only proven furthermore when Benvolio reacts to Tybalt's death by the hands of …show more content…

For instance when Friar John says, “I could not send-here it is again /Nor get a messenger to bring thee, /So fearful were they of infection”(V,i,14-16). Friar John could have figured out a way to protect himself from this infection and send the message to Romeo at the same time. If Friar John and Laurence found a way to send Romeo letter before the plan had begun then Romeo wouldn’t have thought Juliet was dead and killed himself. Even though there are some good reasons to believe Romeo isn’t guilty, he’s still not off the hook for these two main reasons. When Romeo was in Mantua, he had a man named Balthasar give him this information, “Then she is well, and nothing can be ill / Her body sleeps in Capels monument, /And her immortal part with angel lives /I saw her laid low in her kindred’s vault /And presently took post to tell it you /O, pardon me for bringing these il news, /Since you did leave it for my office, sir”(V,i,17-23). If Romeo had a man on the inside the entire time, he could have had him going back and forth with him and the Friar and he would have known about the plan that way. Romeo could have even had Balthasar sending messages to Juliet and they could have made an even better plan that was far more organized. Romeo also cried this before he died, “O, true apothecary! /Thy drugs are quick, thus with a kiss I die”(V,iii,119-120). First off even if
