Tybalt picked a fight with Mercutio, and in the end Mercutio was killed. Romeo decides to get revenge for Mercutio’s death and chases after Tybalt, but in the end accidentally kills Tybalt. Romeo feels guilty for killing Tybalt because he was now Romeo’s family and when he sees Juliet in the tomb along with Tybalt, he breaks down. The Friar sent a man with a message of Juliet’s “death” but he did not think of the possibilities of what could go wrong. There was a disease running through the town the man had to pass through to get to Romeo. The town was under quarantine, so the messenger could not leave to give Romeo the message. If the message had been delivered to Romeo, then he would have known that she would soon awake. The Friar also gave Juliet the potion to fake her death. The potion made her sleep for a few days, and a funeral was held for her. A boy saw Juliet being carried into the tomb and went to tell Romeo. If the Friar had not have given Juliet the potion then Romeo would not have killed himself because of his misery from losing his loved
