Most teenagers blame their behavior on their parents because they feel forced to do things they don't want to do, therefore they blame them for their poor decisions. However, many people assume that their parents are to blame for their early death. The Capulet and Montague families had a long-standing animosity, making it hard for Romeo and Juliet to be publicly together. To be together, the lovers had to meet in secret and even fake their own deaths. In addition Throughout the tale, Romeo and Juliet make a number of poor decisions. One of the most notable examples is their resolve to follow their love for each other despite the fact that their families are bitter rivals. Furthermore, Romeo's choice to kill Tybalt in retaliation for his friend's death only complicates matters and escalates the tension between the Capulet and Montague families. Romeo says“This gentleman, the Prince’s near ally, My very friend, hath got this mortal hurt In my behalf—my reputation stained With Tybalt’s slander—Tybalt, that an hour Hath has been my kinsman, O sweet Juliet, Thy beauty hath made me effeminate And in my temper softened valor’s steel!” The quote is describing how of the bad choices that Romeo did he killed Tybalt. In addition, this quote emphasizes the bad choices that the main characters did. Juliet says “Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow, By one that I’ll procure to come to thee, Where and what time thou wilt perform the rite;” the quote shows that Romeo and Julietweres taking bad decisions in a quick and rush time without even thinking why or how they are doing this and also forgetting their and being selfish and thinking of their own self. Overall, Romeo and Juliet's poor decisions have disastrous implications for themselves and others around them.
