Fact…Zeus is the most ancient Greek God. I chose to right about a Greek god named Zeus. Zeus was a powerful god he became the king over all gods he had four children. Zeus, you might know, that he is very famous for the many affairs that he had. He battled his father for ten years in the battle of Titanomachy. Zeus married his sister Hera, Hera was a jealous goddess who killed Zeus’s children that he had with any other woman (Day 24-26). Zeus was the god of the sky and ruler of Olympian gods. Zeus overthrew his father Cronus. Then Zeus drew lots with his brothers Poseidon and Hades he won the draw and became the supreme ruler of gods. His weapon is a thunderbolt that he throws at people who displease him. He married Hera but he is famous for his many affairs. He is greatly known for punishing those who lie or break oaths with him. The battle was started by Zeus he forced his father to vomit up his swallowed brothers and sisters then the siblings rebelled against Cronus and his giant relations. In the battle of Titanomachy Zeus called on Cyclopes who forged his thunderbolts and three giants with a hundred arms who he brought up from Tartarus. In an awesome sweep of thunder, lightning, rocks, and flames the titans were defeated. Zeus condemned the titans and Cronus to eternal torment. That is what Zeus did to overthrow Cronus.
