Who Killed JonBenet Ramsey? “The six-year-old beauty pageant queen was found murdered in her Boulder, Colorado, home on December 26, 1996.” (Library) Boulder City, Colorado had never experienced a murder ever in their city before, which is a huge reason to why it is undiscovered who murdered it. Since 1996, it has been a huge question as to who killed JonBenet Ramsey. Was it someone in her house like her mother, father or brother? Someone who was in the same loop as her modeling and pageant career? Or could it have even been someone who was just a murderer and was after a little 6-year-old girl. When John Ramsey and his neighbor Fleet White went around the area to see if JonBenet was hiding somewhere, the first place John went was straight to the basement. Which just so happened to be where JonBenet’s body was found, so that right there raised a huge red flag. The reason for that was because by the time Mr. Ramsey had gone downstairs to the basement, it had been a few hours from when everything had started and mysteriously he knew exactly where she would be in the basement? The biggest part of it all was after Mr. Ramsey had found JonBenet, instead of calling for the detectives who were all over his home; he immediately picked JonBenet off the ground and took the duct tape off her mouth. After John Ramsey touched JonBenet, that entire murder scene was now tampered with which makes anything that was found inaccurate seeing how there is now other fingerprints on the body. “Though he'd been told to leave everything where he'd found it, he picked her up, carried the body upstairs, removed a piece tape from the child’s mouth and placed her down. He even covered her up with a throw blanket, further destroying vital physical evidence." (Lovitt) Tampering with the scene did not help Mr. Ramsey’s case at all with him having a high possibility of being a suspect in this murder, it actually made him look even more suspicious than
