Who really killed Romeo and Juliet? We all know and love the story of Romeo and Juliet. Two star crossed lovers who lives were cut tragically short by none other than themselves. Or was it at the hands of two other people that they died? Time to look at the facts… Mercutio (whose last name was never revealed) tried to help Romeo get over Rosaline alongside Benvolio (Romeos Cousin). However he was a joker and ended up making Romeo feel even worse about Rosaline not loving him the way he loved her. Evidence of this is when they was traveling to the Capulets Masquerade He was talking of the fairy queen Mab who flies over men’s noses and they dream of love. Throughout the play Tybalt tried to the best of his ability to thwart Romeo at every turn.
