Have you ever told a lie to your mom but she instantly knew you were lying? Most people have and no matter how hard you try, your mom will always know when you are guilty. That is what is happening with Mr. Eldridge. But in this scenario, we are his mother and he is guilty. Mr. David Eldridge is guilty because there is no sound evidence. A strong piece of evidence presented was that Mr Eldridge had in his possession the stolen spatula with Mr Arm’s blood on it. Also, police noted that a spatula had been stolen from Mr Arms by Mr Eldridge and was never returned. But, it was then found in Mr Eldridge’s house with his fingerprints along with Mr Arms’s blood on it. Then, the police reported that Mr Arms had bled from a cut along his neck from a metal spatula. Arms had been proven to have been killed with the spatula that had Mr. Eldridge’s fingerprints on it. Finally, Mr. Eldridge should be found guilty because he was at the crime scene at the time of his death and was the only other person who had a key to the restaurant. In addition, police noted that there were no signs of forced entry indicating that a key had to be used and Mr. Eldridge was the only person besides Mr. Arms with a key to the restaurant. Also, Mr Eldridge testified that he was at the restaurant when Mr Arms was killed. Equally important is, that Mr Eldridge’s footprints were found around the body, which were the most recent footprints found on the floor with Mr Arms’ footprints. Furthermore, it shows that Mr. Eldridge used a key to get into the restaurant and was the only other person in the restaurant when Mr. Arms was killed. Also, Mr Eldridge’s footprints were found around the body of Mr Arms and his footprints were the most recent, while also being the only ones besides Mr Arms’. When considering the previous evidence presented, you should conclude that Mr. Eldridge had murdered Mr.
