A liar, horrible, and egomaniac leader Odysseus was. Odysseus was not a strong leader and ultimately contributed to the destruction of his own men. Odysseus would always lie and blame his crew for his actions. Odysseus did not tell the crew that when they crossed paths with Scylla, six mem from the crew would die.Odysseus wanted to explore a cyclops island and wanted to kill one. He got his crew killed by staying in the cyclops cave, getting eaten by the cyclops. Odysseus destroyed his own men because Odysseus lied about Scylla and not thinking when they were on the cyclops island.

When Circe told Odysseus about Scylla and Charybdis, Odysseus did not tell his crew about how some crew members are going to die. When Scylla appeared, taking Odysseus's six of his best men, Odysseus did noting when his crew was getting captured. The six men where screaming and begging for Odysseus to help but, he did noting. The cyclops came in to his cave where Odysseus and his crew were hiding out. The cyclops killed many of Odysseus's men for food. Only this happened cause of Odysseus's ego, wanting to kill a cyclops. When they escaped from the cave and got onto the ships, Odysseus kept shouting at the cyclops. Odysseus was bragging how he stabbed the cyclops's eye and made the cyclops angry. The cyclops throwing boulders at Odysseus's ships. This only happening cause Odysseus was not thinking and wanted to
