Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet tells the tragic love story between two lovers. They descend from two feuding families called the Montagues and Capulets. Romeo first saw Juliet at the Capulet ball and instantaneously fell in love with her, only to discover that she was a Capulet. Because of this, Romeo became distraught and ventured to the Capulet’s orchard where he spotted Juliet on her balcony thinking out loud. Upon hearing her thoughts, he made himself known and they confessed their love for each other despite the controversy it would cause.
