Love is poisonous, fast and deadly. This is especially depicted in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, created by William Shakespeare. It is fueled by the bitter rivalry between two reputable families that the “star-crossed lovers,” Romeo and Juliet, had to endure with to keep their forbidden love secret. Romeo, a sensitive, loving gentleman, would do anything for Juliet, his headstrong, loving wife. However, their impulsive decisions and their unlucky fate created a tear that would lead to their tragic downfall.
