In the non-fiction novel, Who Will Tell My Brother by Marlene Carvel, Evan the main character has a really tough year. Also Using the song “Carry On’’ by Fun, the lyrics can help explain Evan’s feelings when he has to deal with life’s pain. In one part of the story Evan’s mom findings his dog skinned alive. Evan was feeling upset and angrier at the people who did this to his poor dog. The song relates to what Evan went through and how he dealt with it .One of the lines in the song where it says “No one is going to stop us now” (Carry On 48) helps us relate to Evans pain.
